Owner & Operator

Regal LLC is owned and operated by Joe Sarkkinen.

Joe was raised in Annandale, Minnesota, where he got his first taste of welding in a high school shop class. After he graduated he started in a fabrication shop in Washington state, and that is where he learned the fundamentals of welding and the structural side of the trade. From there he moved out of the shop and into a truck, installing structural systems and repairing equipment in the field.

After a few years with that employer, Joe moved to Lake Norden, bought a rig, and went out on his own. He got started the hard way, knocking on doors and dropping off business cards until the commercial work started coming in. Since then it has been word of mouth, and the connections he has made with locals and local businesses have taken him from Kearney, Nebraska to Minneapolis, Minnesota to Watford City, North Dakota, and everywhere in between.

Those jobs have widened what Regal can take on: structural steel, equipment repair, carbon and stainless steel piping, fences, rails and miscellaneous residential work, and dairy and farm repairs and maintenance.
